In order to produce $MILK you have to barn your cow in a farm, either yours or in someone elses.
If you barn your cow in someone elses farm, you have to split your earnings with the owner in half.
The community can decide to slaughter (burn) cows in order to up the production. For every cow that gets slaughtered, the production of that particular cow gets split between all other remaining cows.
